We joined other families from our school and ran in the Cowtown Kids 5K. We had a great time and will probably make it a tradition for our family.
Before the race…
Nathan and Scott ran with Alexa and her dad the whole way. They finished in about 45 minutes.
I hung back with Hannah and had to basically bribe her to finish the race. I tried positive, motivating words but that only worked until about the end of mile one. She finished, though, and wants to do it again next year so I think she had a good time.
Afterwards, we went to Chuy’s and Hannah finally lost her other front tooth that had been barely haning on for a week.
I’d call that a successful morning.
