For Nathan’s actual birthday, we started off with presents in the morning.
He got to pick his meals for the day.
He picked waffles for breakfast
We went to Chick-fil-A for lunch with friends, then had pancakes for dinner.
Nathan still loves all things sports. Last year he spent all his time at home playing soccer and peter pan, and now he plays baseball and star wars. He is still a superb chicken farmer and a big helper for Mommy with his little brother. He is our super extrovert. He never meets a stranger and seems to make a new friend every day. His teachers say he always pays attention in school and church. He is in his last year of preschool and goes two days per week. He still thinks Hannah hung the moon, even though they can go from best buds to at each other’s throats in a split second. He loves to play with figurines and has become a big collector.
He has the best laugh. He finds lots of things funny and will have us all giggling just because his laugh is so contagious. It really is one of his best qualities…says his mom.
Nathan is very observant. You can’t get anything past him. It seems like he is always asking why we are doing something, where we are going, what comes next, etc. He seems to be always thinking a few steps ahead. He also has a great sense of direction and geography. He can navigate you to any of our frequent destinations (Hannah’s school, his school, church, bible study, the grocery store), and also recognize less frequent places that he has been before (zoo, botanic gardens, Nate’s house).
He loves bath time with Henry
and ice-cream
and the Aledo Bearcats.
We are so proud of you Nathan!
