Just to update on Advo--
They were able to secure a temporary facility, so Anne has gone back to work. Back to the drama of swapping off boyfriends and girlfriends each week. Back to folding "thousands" of towels and "hundreds" of bottle caps. Back to waiting for that monster payday. Needless to say, Anne is happy.

Fort Worth Zoo
We spent Saturday morning at the Fort Worth Zoo and had a great time! We were really impressed with the number of exhibits and the quality of the park as a whole. We've included some pictures below. The highlight of the day was seeing the Orangutans, who were especially social and entertaining to watch. Select pics below.

Advo Fire
A sheltered workshop in Amarillo, Texas burned down last Saturday. The workshop belonged to Advo Companies who provides services for adults with developmental disabilities. My sister Anne was employed there. Luckily the fire occurred on the weekend while the building was vacant. However, the biggest impact is that all the employees temporarily are without jobs. To my family, this means that Anne can't go to work everyday, so my parents have to be creative to find ways to keep Anne supervised during the workday. Advo says they plan to find a new facility as quickly as possible, but it will definitely take time. There are some pictures from the Amarillo Globe-News that show the severity of the damage.

Wedding Video
So we got our wedding video today (over 1 year after the wedding). We must say that it was definitely a let down. The filming had much room for improvement and the editing was almost non-existent. However, we did get a pretty hefty refund.....we can't remember exactly how much we paid originally. Nonetheless, they did capture some of our wedding day on film. We had a good time watching the DVD and reminiscing. We just had to laugh off the errors.
I also got to see how much my brother Will grew during the last year. At the wedding, I had a solid 8-10 inches on him, and now he is taller than I am.

Dinosaur Valley SP
We just got back from Dinosaur Valley SP in Glen Rose, Texas. We spent one night with our good friends Jon and Mari Haft and had a great time! The park was really nice and the weather was great. We saw tons of dinosaur tracks in the Paluxy River (a trib of the Brazos), took a "haunted hike," and played in the river. We would highly recommend it to anybody. We'll try to help you relive our experience with the pictures below...

[Ultimate sleeping arrangements because Blue was too scared to sleep outside in the woods--not that he slept any in the tent either]

This Weather is Great
We have been so excited about the weather lately. God is certainly good. I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but here in Ft Worth, we have been having sunny days with highs in the lower 80's and lows in the 50's. In other words, it's perfect. It has been so nice that we are planning on taking a camping trip this weekend to Dinosaur Valley State Park near Glen Rose, Texas. We are still deciding if we are going to take the dogs (Blue and Sarah) with us or not. We'll let you know how it goes...
