We just got back from Dinosaur Valley SP in Glen Rose, Texas. We spent one night with our good friends Jon and Mari Haft and had a great time! The park was really nice and the weather was great. We saw tons of dinosaur tracks in the Paluxy River (a trib of the Brazos), took a "haunted hike," and played in the river. We would highly recommend it to anybody. We'll try to help you relive our experience with the pictures below...
[Obligatory entrance sign picture]
[The mighty Paluxy]
[Planned sleeping arrangements]
[Ultimate sleeping arrangements because Blue was too scared to sleep outside in the woods--not that he slept any in the tent either]
[Taking a swim]
[Blue joining me]
[A typical dinosaur track]
[Another track....I figured I must have been almost as large as this ancient reptile, judging from our foot sizes]
[The happy family]
[Typical vegetation]
[My beautiful wife]
[Some great views, too]
[Goodbye, that's all she wrote]
