Good Dog, Broady
Nathan loves his dog. He loves on him all day and Broady doesn’t seem to mind. These pictures were taken back in March (Broady just got a summer hair cut).
One of his favorite books is Good Dog, Carl. He giggles at every page.
(Nathan, you also enjoy reading Goodnight Moon, My World, The Big Red Barn and The Everything Book.)

Cutting Skills
This year Hannah had a little evaluation at school on all her “skills”. She got a “G” (Good) score on everything except her ability to use scissors, which she received a “W” (Still Working). They showed me a piece of paper with two straight lines and said she was suppose to cut on both the lines. I wish I would have taken a picture because there wasn’t even one cut on the paper. The whole thing was still intact! I couldn’t help but laugh. But I wasn’t surprised because we never use scissors at home. I’m terrified she’s going to cut all her hair off. And besides, I don’t know that many adults who are “still working” on using a pair of scissors.
Nonetheless, we bought a pair of little scissors and have been slowly working on safely using them.
Her teachers were right. She couldn’t cut at all….but we’re making progress. She is actually cutting the paper now.
Check this out:
We made palm branches on Palm Sunday. Can you guess which one is mine and which is Hannah’s?
But what she lacks in scissor skills, she makes up for in drawing. This is her self-portrait.
Good job Hannah!

March Happenings
We stayed pretty busy in March. The weather was great, so we spent a lot of time outdoors.
We took a stroll through the Botanic Gardens to check out all the beautiful flowers.
Our cousins came to visit and we took them to the museum.
That’s right…I’m standing in a nostril.
Check out these two princesses.
We played a little ball with O…
and cooked some “dinner” with Mimi.
We had our first ever Hubley Garage Sale. Although it looks pretty sparse, it felt good to get rid of a lot of junk!
Hannah kept getting money out of the “bank” to buy her stuff back. It was pretty hilarious to hear all her explanations for why she didn’t want to sell it.
Nathan took it all in while having his breakfast in the garage.
And we ended the month with a fun visit from our friends up North. This summer I think they will have to return the favor :)
February Happenings
We had lots of fun talking about Valentine’s Day this year. We made tons of Valentine cards for our friends and family and enjoyed heart-shaped pancakes that morning (courtesy of Daddy of course).
Hannah got all dressed up for her Valentine’s Day party at School.
I think she wore her pink sparkly Tom’s the entire month of February!
