Children’s Theater

Fort Worth is known for its culture.  Between the zoo, museums, and performance halls, we have appreciated all the opportunities and like to take advantage of them whenever we get the chance.  We got Hannah started early this year by purchasing tickets to three shows at the Casa Manana Children’s Theater.  We bought season tickets about halfway through the season.  It is a neat little theater with surprisingly good talent and kid friendly performances.  I took Hannah to see Charlotte’s Web.  Then Jennifer took her to see Alice in Wonderland.  Finally, Nana took her to see Annie.  We were a little worried about how young Hannah was and whether the shows would keep her attention, but she did a great job of sitting through the whole performance and really enjoyed it each time.

Here is the view from our seats.  We were on the 2nd row, on the aisle.  The performers often use the aisles as part of the show, so it was great for keeping Hannah’s attention.

Hannah was a little nervous so she opted to sit in my lap during the performance.

Here is Hannah on the stage at Alice in Wonderland.  Her favorite part of the show was the white rabbit.

“Tomorrow” has ended up being Hannah’s theme song the last month or so. You can usually hear her singing it in the car, in the backyard, in her room, EVERYWHERE!
