For Nathan’s 4th birthday party (back in February), we went all out with Ninja Turtles. It was really easy to decorate. You just put crepe paper or tape around everything, add googly eyes and presto…you have a Ninja Turtle (or something that resembles one anyway).
He had fun helping me bake the cake
and make Toxic Ooze!
When everyone arrived we had them make their own nunchucks. This party was about 80% girls, so I bought pink tape to help get them in the Ninja spirit.
Then they headed over to eat some sewer ooze so they could be transformed into real Ninja Turtles!
Once the transformation was complete, they went outside to get some Ninja training from Master Hubley. They started with an obstacle course.
and continued their training by breaking boards. Nathan really liked doing this.
As did most of the girls.
Then they played a game of Hot Potato, which Nathan actually won! He was so excited.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Ninja Turtle party without pizza!
After singing to the birthday boy, eating cake and opening presents,
we lined all the Ninja’s up outside to take a turn with the pinata. It didn’t take long with this crowd before it was in pieces and everyone was scrambling for candy.
It was a really fun party. Probably one of my favorites so far and I know Nathan loved it. Even little Henry got in on the action!
