Well, things are cooling down in Texas a bit and although it’s still in the 90’s, you can (kind of) tell that fall is on the way! So I thought I better post some of the things we did to beat the heat this summer. Since our house was on the market all summer, we had to leave the house a lot (like 84 showings a lot)! Can you believe that! I don’t know how we did it, but looking back it wasn’t that bad. Wait..that’s a lie…it was bad. I had a few break downs and was down right ugly to my husband more than I’d like to admit, but in the end we sold the house and it was all worth it…
The time we did spend at the house we tried our best to enjoy!
We made lots of messes outside…
playing with moon dough
and sliding with shaving cream.
And some messes inside...
cooking yummy blueberry muffins
and playing dress up.
We took a trip across the street to visit the little fire station near our house.
and visited the zoo and museum several times.
We had fun summer….but bring on the fall!
