Hannah is Six Months Old

Hannah is now 6 months old and as her Daddy likes to say, she is a "wild child!" She has really come alive and it's so fun to watch. This has been a really big month for Hannah. We went to her 6 month check-up and found that she is in the 5th percentile for weight! She might be small, but she's a firecracker!

She is sitting up on her own, pulling up a little, trying desperately to crawl (she gets on all fours and rocks, until she decides that army crawling is easier), and she is eating three solid meals a day...WOW!! She has had rice cereal, carrots, squash, green beans, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, bananas and pears. She loves them all!

She is such a joy to Scott and me. We pray that she keeps her sweet spirit and continues to make people smile. We love you Hannah!

Mom and Hannah in the leaves, she loves it outside
She still loves bath time!
Carrots, Yumm!
She can even sit in her big girl high chair if she wants :)
She tends to be all smiles, such a joy!

Fall

Nana came to visit last weekend, and we went to the Botanic Gardens. Then this weekend, Nan, Amber, and cousins Sam and Betsy came to visit for Halloween. Lots of pics below. Enjoy

Makeshift pumpkin patch

It was the Japanese Festival at the Botanic Gardens. Hannah loved listening and watching the drummers.

Hannah can sit up on her own. You still have to watch her or she will take a tumble.

Sam decorating a pumpkin. He was very excited about Halloween. He loves to say, "Boo to you"

Hannah was wiped out at the end of the day. She just sprawled out and didn't move.

All the cousins.

Hannah gets her book

She is pretty persistent, and although she can't crawl, she can move around enough to get her favorite book.

October Happenings

OK...we're back! Sorry it's been such a long time since we've posted any new pictures, but here they are. It will kind of be a "catch-all" post. Several big events have taken place in the past month:

1. Hannah is 5 MONTHS OLD! I can't believe it! She is so big and so precious!
2. Scott and I had our 3rd Anniversary! Three years of wedded bliss...I love you hubby!
3. My sister had her baby! Betsy arrived Oct. 5th weighing 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 1/2 in long. We went to Evadale to see her and visit family.

Below are pics:

My nephew, Sam, loves to line up all his trucks. He is so cute!

She has changed a lot since this pic was taken. She looks just like her beautiful mother!

yada, yada, yada

Here is a clip of Hannah chatting it up with Jennifer. We were watching this on our tv today, and Hannah started talking to the tv again. She recognized someone speaking her language!!

Hannah Dedication

We had the privilege of dedicating Hannah yesterday during a service at our church, Christ Chapel Bible Church. During the dedication, we committed to raising Hannah in a Christ-centered home and setting an example for her so that she might have the opportunity to come to know the Lord. Our life stage pastor Jeff Walschauser read the verse we picked out and prayed for her. Here are some pictures of our family who were able to attend.

Hannah's Verse - Colossians 1:9-10:
9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God
