At 6 weeks old, Nathan has started smiling and cooing quite a bit and I can’t get enough. I always try to catch him smiling with the camera, but it always seems to disappear when I snap. So while trying to capture a smile the other day, I got all these other funny faces instead….I guess they’ll do.
And then finally…success!!

Here are a couple of shots of our little guy when he was 2 weeks old (we are a bit behind). We haven’t been taking enough pictures lately but we’ll try to catch up in the coming weeks.
This Valentine’s Day was not filled with wine and roses by a long shot. It was our first day home with two babies and we were overwhelmed to say the least. But amidst the madness there was also a quiet calm in our home. It brought me so much joy to see Scott in full husband/father mode. He served our family with joy and patience. So although it wasn’t the most romantic day of my life, I have never felt more loved. Thank you hubby. My cup overflows!
We’ve been at home almost a week now, and we are slowly adjusting to life with two kids. Mom has been on Nathan duty, and Dad is on Hannah duty. Nathan is doing really well, just eating and sleeping. Hannah is having a tough adjustment at times, but doing well overall. Yesterday I asked her if she was upset and she said “Yeah”, and I asked her why and she pointed at Nathan and said “Baby”. We did our best not to laugh. Here are a few more pics

Hannah and Dad went to the zoo to get out of the house one day this week. Hannah has really been getting into animals in her books, and it has been awhile since we’ve been to the zoo. It was really fun watching her name all the animals and imitate their sounds. All the animals were active. We saw monkeys swinging around, penguins diving, otters swimming, lions roaring.
