If you’re wondering why we are catching up on blogs, it’s because we are on day 3 of being iced in. Here are a few pictures outside:
These roads are not driveable
Even though it looks like snow, this is really just about 2-3 inches of ice and sleet. The kids tried to play in it one day
Afterwards we warmed up by the fire
Church was cancelled this morning, and TXDOT is asking motorists to stay off of Tarrant County roads until 6am on Monday so the ice can be removed. The forecast today is a high of 37, so hopefully some of this will melt off.
