Advo Fire
A sheltered workshop in Amarillo, Texas burned down last Saturday. The workshop belonged to Advo Companies who provides services for adults with developmental disabilities. My sister Anne was employed there. Luckily the fire occurred on the weekend while the building was vacant. However, the biggest impact is that all the employees temporarily are without jobs. To my family, this means that Anne can't go to work everyday, so my parents have to be creative to find ways to keep Anne supervised during the workday. Advo says they plan to find a new facility as quickly as possible, but it will definitely take time. There are some pictures from the Amarillo Globe-News that show the severity of the damage.

I heard about that. I didn't realize that is where Anne was employed. I hope they are able to keep things going strong.
Man, really sorry to hear about that, Hubley. Bless you guys during this time.
Why does Advo burn down? Why not all the meth houses out there, or Texas Tech?
